Thanks so much for making my wedding so fun....I was having such a good time dancing that I didn’t want it to end. It was a great feeling to look around and see all those people (even people with bad knees who never dance) get up and have a great time! I know you guys put a lot of effort and planning into it and it showed. The song you guys played for me and my Dad sounded so beautiful, and it meant a lot to both of us :)
You guys were a huge part in making that day a success, and I really appreciate it. You definately gained a lot of new Rockaholics fans that night!!!!

The ROCKAHOLICS (a.k.a. The NYRockaholics)
A young couple stopped us as we were walking down the street the other day, asking whether we are a NY and Long Island Dance Party Band. "Well of course we are!", we all answered in unison, "We are one of the best Long Island Dance Party groups around! We also are one of NYC and Connecticut's favorite Rock and Roll Party bands around!". "We play all kinds of danceable rock music on Long Island, NYC, AND Connecticut. Heck, we'll even go to JERSEY for cryin' out loud!". "We also play Rock and Roll Weddings!", we said. "When people want something different for their wedding, something other than the usual tired disco dj music, they call us!" "We play Wedding Dance Rock music for people that like to rock out at their weddings". "We are L.I.'s favorite dance rock wedding bands". "As a matter of fact", we told them, "We are also NYC's favorite rock and roll dance party wedding bands". Well, after we told them all that, they quietly told us they were, in fact, getting divorced; and since they were ending their marriage amicably, they wanted to have a "divorce party". Again we answered in unison, "Well, that's kinda weird, but maybe no weirder than that Bris we played at a few months ago. "Yeah, okay...we'll play at your divorce party...no problem". Who knows, maybe they'll have so much fun together at their divorce party, that they'll get married all over again...and we could be the NY dance rock wedding band that they should have had the first time around!
ReplyDeleteThere are other Long Island and NYC Dance Rock bands, NYC and Long Island Rock and Roll Dance Party Bands, etc., but none play the great tunes (played with all the nuances of the originals)quite like The Rockaholics. People always say we look like we're having a really good time while we play. Well, that's easy...it's because we ARE having a good time while we play. And when the audience is having a good time, then we have an even better time! We love to play, and love to get people dancing. We're not happy unless we have people dancing with reckless abandon! Then we know we hit our mark. So, if you need a NYC or Long Island Dance Party Band, give us a call......!
ReplyDeleteWe are a north shore and south shore Long Island Classic Rock Dance Band. Heck, we'll play just about anywhere! If you are having any kind of party (we've played at Birthday parties, anniversaries, weddings, corportate functions, retirements...you name it, we've played it. We are all expert players and are able to play for you with royal aplomb! We are a great Dance Rock Party Band. Why hire a DJ when you can have a whole band for pretty much the same price. Much more entertainment value with a great band, rather than watching some DJ with earphones on his head! The Rockaholics are ready to play for your Long Island Dance Party!
